Athletics

At St. Edmund’s every pupil takes part in athletics in their allocated games lessons during the Summer term. We cover both track and field events including sprinting, relays, javelin, long jump, high jump, shot putt and discus, along with some more unorthodox sports such as nerf throwing! The pupils have the opportunity to go to many athletics meets including the South Surrey Schools Championships, as well as the Waverley District Competition with a number of our athletes representing the County.

Throughout the year we also have specialist run coaches that lead a fantastic run club after school.
